FYS – Final Year Syndrome. I believe it to be the syndrome of not wanting or the indecisive decision to leave this place due to fond memories in which USM KKJ has brought to a person, specifically the final year students. Well, I believe I have it. But it was for only a short period of time (smiles). That’s how much I want to leave this palm tree estate campus. Yes campus. It did not have the effect of a real university environment, unlike the other universities I’ve been to; main USM campus, UTP, UTM, UM, and UTHM. I sincerely dreaded this place when I first stepped foot into this place. WHYYY GOD? “Why? Cause you chose it as your first choice silly”. Yes it was my first choice. Four years has come and go so quickly and I realized that I would never regret choosing USM over UTP. Even though I realized engineering itself wasn’t my cup of tea, the four years in campus thought me more than I could ask for. After CF’s prayer and thanksgiving, I realized I grew a lot, personally and spiritually. I once was a shy, quiet, mind my own business kind of guy. Wait… I’m still that. Oh yeah, it was more of my outlook on the world. I hated it. Felt like there wasn’t much reason to move on as it is full of … well … crap. But it changed. I gave myself the opportunity and I took those that came to me. For one; serving God. I don’t think the chance will come again that easily and all I have to say; “It feels great to serve Him”. (I didn’t before USM). I come from a church which you can say “big” and have pondered about being involved in the worship team to serve Him. Reluctant when it was firstly given to me, but I always felt glad after I did it. In the process of serving Him, I’d learn and hone some skills. I’ve also met amazing people and learnt a thing of two from them. I create and initiate my own positive mindset. I shared before during prayer meet a couple of years ago that the one thing I wished for was happiness. I lacked of it. And now, I know how to obtain it. I thank God for shedding some light on the matter. For number two; attending CF. Come to think of it, there hasn’t been a time I went to CF and came back thinking; “oh today CF was just nonsense”. I would come back from CF feeling satisfied, happy or de-stressed. I think the committee has done a pretty decent job to keep CF interesting and lively enough to attend it weekly. I used to think that if the livewires of CF did not come to CF, then CF would be pretty dull. Now I would go to CF and try to be the livewire. (Sometimes not successful. Hehe). If everyone would think like the latter, CF would be more than amazing. Thus four years in this dreadful place had more things to teach me rather than just the technical gain. I really don’t mind where the future might lead me. It’s in God hands as He knows best for me. All I need to do is to search for what He seeks in me and let Him lead on. For a disgruntled servant will not do well to serve Him properly, but a happy one to do for His name wonders. To my fellow seniors who are reading this, thank you for all you have done. God has made you messengers unknowingly. And to the juniors, who are reading this, do continue to come and grow in CF and to give yourself the opportunity to do wonders for His name for He has and is working in your life, molding you to become even better. You only need to give yourself that chance. Sayonara USM KKJ CF and thanks for everything.

Keep me from WRATH

Recently, I have received a big assignment. It's not from any lecturers or tutors, it's from God. Loving people is a learning process, but loving someone who has taken advantages on your kindness, it's incredible tough! You know someone is trying to make use of you, are u going to continue to love this person, or treat him/her the way he/she treat you? Deep in my heart, I admit I am struggling. Emotional breakdown confused me the attitude and faith that I am used to hold on. I am fed up and tired. However, God is a loving God who will never abandon us. He spoke to me this morning through a passage.

David in Psalm 37 prays that he will not retaliate but will instead rest in Lord and wait patiently for Him to bring justice to the earth in due time. For evil-doers shall be cut off; but those who wait on the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Roman 12:19,21

This must begin in the heart, the wellspring from which the issues of our lives flow. May we cease from anger, forsake wrath, and wait patiently for the Lord.

Oh thank God, I am learning.

Talent Night

It was held on 19 Jan 2011: 4th week since uni reopen. Talent Night was a night that all the CF-ers can show their best talent and show the BEST performance for God.

Few weeks before the night, all the CGLs were given chance to cast lot their turn and area of performance.

The night began with Praise and Worship Session and followed by announcement from the President and a short Ice breaking session.

Everyone was so excited for the night~~

Waiting for the 1st performance of the night...

First CG to perform was 恩典住 (Grace CG). The area they got is Singing. They sang 2 songs that night, including 我要像高山举目 and 改变我，改变世界.

Followed by Patience CG. They were acting a sketch on the story of Jacob and Esau.

Everyone put their effort in preparing for this special night. Everyone show their BEST to God and everyone is winner. There was a special prize for best performance and the winner was....

Movie Sharing

On 2nd week after the uni reopen, we had Movie Sharing : End of the Spear.

The summary of this movie:

"End of the Spear" is the story of Mincayani, a Waodani tribesman from the jungles of Ecuador. When five young missionaries, among them Jim Elliot and Nate Saint, are speared to death by the Waodani in 1956, a series of events unfold to change the lives of not only the slain missionaries' families, but also Mincayani and his people.

The true story of a group of Christian missionaries in Ecuador who set out to reach the Wadani tribe (a violent Ecuadorian tribe defined by revenge killing). When the 5 men from this group are speared to death by Mincayani and others in the tribe (who believe all foreigners are cannibals), the wives and children of those men move into the Wadani tribe to teach them about God. End of the Spear is an amazing story of Truth, Love, and Forgiveness.

Christmas Night 2011

Semester 2 2010/2011 starts of with:

CHRISTMAS NIGHT!!!!

It was held on 29 December 2011 at our usual gathering place: DK11. The writer of this post (ME) unable to attend this wonderful day but i can share some of the activities based on the pictures i got.

Started off with Praise and Worship Session lead by Mr. William (a.k.a Tiger Ang) and Sin Yen (Chemical's 2010 Flower), together with pianist- James Phan and guitarist- Bernard, the room was filled up sweet melody to our God.

Followed by announcement from the Mr. President, Joshua Chan.

The night continued with sketch by Chuang Ki and Ernest.

after the sketch, a short sharing session was conducted in smaller group.

After the sharing, the CF-ers had an interesting game: guessing game that related to the Christmas Day.

Christmas night continued with gifts exchange and ended with makan time and fellowship among all the people attended on that night ^.^

不平凡的信心

“经上怎么样说呢？”亚伯拉罕信　神，这就算为他的义。”罗4：3

这里有两个很重要的词我们须要注意，第一个是“信”，第二个是“义”。这里说的很清楚，一个人要成为“义”，他就必需先“信”。那，什么是义呢？简单的说，就是得神的喜悦；只要神喜欢我们，满意我们，我们就是义的。所以，我们又回到问题，如何才能得到神的喜悦，如何才能让神喜欢我们，满意我们？就是“信”！只要我们相信神，祂就满意我们，喜欢我们，然后让我们成为义。那么，什么是相信神呢？相信神就是对神有信心！

现在，让我们重新排过这句子，使我们更能明白这句子的意思。
“亚伯拉罕对神有信心，所以神就喜欢他，满意他”。这样子，大家会觉得对这句话有不同的了解吗？

这“信”是什么“信”呢？

这信心是怎样的信心呢？他不是一种自信，不是叫人相信自己，反而是一种放弃个人的自信，叫你不要相信自己，因为相信自己是软弱的，是有限的，是无能的。当你生病，你相信自己，你的病就能痊愈吗？你有办法让自己不生病吗？如果今天你掉进水池，你又不会游泳，你相信自己，这样的相信能帮助你吗？决对不能！！

圣经所说的“信”就是注目仰望基督。
这信，是叫我们把我们的信心放在神那里，相信他大能的能力必定能带领我们，使我们有平安，有喜乐，得胜有余的去面对我们的问题和困难。如果今天你生病了，你要相信神，祷告神，然后祂就会喜欢你。神喜欢你，祂就会很乐意的把祂的祝福给你，给你医治，给你平安，给你喜乐。如果今天你掉进水池，不要相信自己，相信神。他既是全能的神，又是爱你的神，他会派人来救你，所以你也要相信救你的人，是神派的。

当亚伯拉罕相信神时，神叫他离开本族，他就离开。他没有犹豫，因为他只相信他的神，并且他认识这位神，他知道神叫他离开本族，神就一定会看顾保守他。凭着这样的信心，亚伯拉罕离开了本族。试想想，亚伯拉罕能依靠自己，相信自己而离开本族，去到一个陌生的环境吗？甚至他连要去哪里都不知道，就是单单的凭着信心离开，不是对自己的信心，而是对神的信心。

而且，当亚伯拉罕对神有信心时，神就喜欢他。当神喜欢一个人时，祂就本性的很自然的把祂的恩典和祝福都给我们。当亚伯拉罕被神喜欢时，神就大大的赐福给他，使他作万民的父，并且使他财富万贯，更使他老来得子，并且是从撒拉得来的儿子，以撒。所以，我们要得神的祝福，就必须得神的喜悦；要得神的喜悦，就必须先相信祂，对神有信心。也就是说：相信神，对神有信心，就得神的祝福！

有一句话说得特别好， “不要看我们的周围问题有多大，而要看我们的神有多大”。

信心的比喻

这 “信”就像一个小孩子相信他的爸爸一样。如果你叫一个小孩子独自一个人在黑夜里走过一条小巷，你说他敢吗？你敢吗？这小孩子能靠着相信自己去走过这条小巷吗？他可能会害怕，怕黑，怕有妖怪出现，怕有坏人，心里又很大的恐惧，很没有安全感。但是，如果他爸爸带他走过这条小巷，他就不害怕了。为什么呢？因为他相信的不是自己，而是他的爸爸，他知道他的爸爸一定会保护他，会带他走过这条黑暗的小巷。所以，他有平安，有安全感，有喜乐。
我们的神也是一样。只要我们知道我们这位爱我们的神，他是大有能力，而且一定会保护我们，那我们也就能一样的来靠着对他的信心去面对我们的困境。

我们每一个人被创造的时候，都有一颗信心的种子在我们里面，在我们心里。
当我们遇到挫折，我们要凭着信心来向神支取力量。当一个基督徒，我们不要害怕，我们不需要靠着自己的力量来面对人生的挑战，神赐给我们一颗信心。不止这样，他要我们借着我们的信心来支取从神来的力量。

信心有大的，有小的。普通的信心vs不平凡的信心。
不平凡的信心带来不平凡的结果；不平凡的信心，造就不平凡的人。当你面对挑战，你要知道是时候你表现你不平凡的信心的时候。因为神知道，任何一样我们生命中面对的困难，无非是我们都能承受的。而且只要我们继续地相信神，他一定会带领我们安然的度过，不止度过，当我们度过时候再进去，我们还要有更大的信心，更加的坚强，更加的喜乐，更加的得胜。

有时信心会动摇
他是我们的神，它在我们内心里面放了不平凡的信心。可是有时候，我们让这不平凡的信心的火种，在我们里面消灭了，我们需要在去点燃它。就如同圣经里的大卫，他当时是在他父亲的牧场里牧羊，可是当他听说非力士人在嘲笑欺负以色列人，那在他里面的信心发芽了。在他里面有一个声音告诉他，这是你发挥你实力的时候，完成你命定的时候；可是又有一个声音告诉他，你算什么，你只是一个小牧羊人，狂且你又不高大，你怎么可能面对那么高大的歌利亚，你疯了吗？你去的话一定被打得一派湖涂，你一点得胜的机会都没有。可是他里面的信心告诉他，只要你愿意相信神，只要你有不平凡的信心，加上不平凡的神，你一定能成就不平凡的事情，大卫几乎被他所说服而放弃了，但他没有继续让他里面负面的情绪继续缠绕着他；他借着那不平凡的信心，相信在他里面的大过任何事情，他勇敢地走了出去。结果我们都知道，他终于打败了那巨人歌利亚。

我相信很多时候，神都让我们碰到了不平凡的困难。很大的挫折，问题，婚姻没有盼望，突如其来的疾病，孩子不如我们预算的理想，我们走头无路了，所发生的不如我们所计划，我们束手无策，有时候我们忍不足想要放弃，我们灰心了。但是这时候，就是我们经历不平凡神的时候；这时候就是我们发挥不平凡信心的时候。我们不可以以普通的信心来信靠神，要知道我们的神是不平凡的神，是超自然的神。要知道我们里面有不平凡的信心，可以向那超自然的神支取不平凡的力量，行出不平凡的事。

所以，当你面对困难时，你没有办法面对。你要认识到你有一位上帝，你只要相信，坚定地相信，神给了你一颗不平凡的信心，让你相信这样一个不平凡的神。你要相信那在你里面的比任何事都大，他可以帮你解决所有的问题，没有一样事是他不能解决。如果你有这样不平凡的信心，你就会经历不平凡的事。你会发现你未来的日子，是令你惊奇的日子。未来的道路，比以前的道路更光明，更有盼望。

所以我鼓励我们为一个人，我们要从新有一个态度。相信我们这不平凡的上帝，是超自然的上帝。而我这平凡的人，要借着我们不平凡的信心，向他支取不平凡的力量，去经历不平凡的事。因此，我们的人生就与普通信心的人不一样。因此，我就经历神迹，经历我自己没有办法达成的目标。

慈恩小妹妹的见证
前一阵只，我看了一个小女孩的见证。这小女孩才十岁，但他就已经患上了末期癌症，在080808时过世了。这小妹妹虽然在世上的日子很短，但他活出了很不平凡的人生，因为他相信这位不平凡的上帝。
小慈恩有几句特别有智慧的箴言，与大家一同共勉：
- 我不会害怕，因为上帝与我在一起
- 人最害怕的是不能进天堂！
- 上帝爱你，我也爱你，上帝祝福你！
- 死后，我就可以上天堂到上帝那里，那里不是很好吗？
- 怕什么，我会勇敢地走下去。
- 我将十字架的重担交还给上帝了

有时候，我们总是觉得事情不能成就，能维持现状就不错了，但是我觉得我们应该像这小女孩一样有着不平凡的信心，单纯的信心，相信神能成就不平凡的事。

我想问，你们曾经向神求过不平凡的事吗？超过人所能成就，超过医生，超过环境，超过你所有的字眼所能成就。有吗？如果你没有，很可惜，那代表你从没发挥你那不平凡的信心。也许，你觉得这要能够这样就不错了，能维持这样就不错了，能安然度过就不错了。

也许，你现在家庭出现问题,家里的成员彼此没有沟通，没有相爱，或许你觉得只要大家没有吵吵闹闹就好。还是，你选择相信神，可以使这个家庭有爱，彼此互相相爱。也许，你的家人还没相信神，还没接受主，但你觉得只要他们都过得好好，开心就好。还是，你选择相信神，相信他可以改变你的家人，使他们也得到永生的盼望。或许，其他人都告诉你他们不会接受神，就连你自己也很难相信他们会接受神，但你选择相信这不平凡的上帝，相信他能改变人心。这就是不平凡的信心，不平凡的信心能结出不平凡的结果。你想要经历神迹吗？你只要借着那不平凡的信心，让不平凡的神介入你们的生命，你们就会经历超自然的事情，人无法想象的事情。

记得，有好几次我们去做宣教的工作时，都遇到天气不好的时候。就在前年，当我第一次来这个地方 Pengkalan Hulu 做宣教时，当时天空看是乌云密布，随时都会下起大雨。可是，我们必须搭一小时的船到Pulau Banding去。当时，虽然环境看似真的很糟，下雨了我们就不能搭船了，可是我的内心却没有一丝丝的担心，我里面很有平安。我们一起凭着信心向神祷告，向神祈求赐给我们平安的脚步，我们也奉主耶稣的名斥责风雨。结果，神真的行了神迹，让天空突然一片曙光照耀，风向转变让乌云转个方向飘去。可是，当我们回程，上了车时，就突然倾盆大雨。我们短宣队的每个成员都不尽向神献上感恩，感谢他让我们经历了不平凡且超自然的事。有人说这是巧合，但我们深信是神在做工。是神把乌云暂且吹到别处，否则我们就不能去为他的名传福音了。我们须要有这样的信心向神祈求，也许要这样的信心奉主名行事，然后我们才会经历神迹。

弟兄姐妹，我们要经常锻炼我们的信心，如果信心不锻炼，我们就不可能看到神迹在我们生命中发生。

Is Christianity a religion? a true and mature christian would never say it is, cause it is nothing matter with religion actually. Religion is all about the history, doctrine, ritual, service, and bla bla bla.....
Christianity is actually all about relationship! Whether you want to admit it or not, all about Christianity is relationship with God, relationship with others, and relationship with yourself. Relationship, is often involve only 2 parties, it is nothing matter with how others look, because only 2 of you know very well how close you are.
Establish an intimate relationship with God, is not just about reading bible and going to church, it is about involve Him in everything in your life. Reading bible can help us to know more about God, but it doesn't build the bonding; instead, think of Him, meditate on Him, pray to Him, ask Him, kidding with Him, questioning Him, these all action that you know He is there to listen to you all the time, it help you to build the bonding with Him. God is always with us, Emmanuel is His name. Because He is here, we should be able to feel His presence all the time, His companionship. The only reason why man cannot feel Him, is because there are too many "Me", instead of "HIM", take away "me" and you feel feel Him. Only when we are empty, then only He can fill us and we feel Him.
Love others as yourself, love one another. This love, is not about how we love, about how He love us first. The love of Christianity is about self-less, not selfish. Think not about ourselves, but others before us. Only when we are self-less, we are empty, then only we allow His love to flow through us, into others life, and that is how we learn to love each others. We love, because He first love us.
The last one, love yourself. Knowing our purpose on the earth is to glorify Him, and we live because of Him, we would not easily give up our life. He had paid a great price to ransom us from sin, and therefore our life is no longer ourselves, we live by Him and for Him.
Without this 3 relationship being establish, we have nothing about Christianity.

敬拜的心

有一天，两个资深的音乐人同时来到了一间小教会，惊奇的发现在崇拜中带领敬拜赞美的竟然有两组人。首先带领敬拜赞美的歌声优美且有丰富事奉经验的赞美团队，然后进入讲道，再进入第二环节的敬拜赞美。这次带领敬拜赞美的，却是一班年纪轻轻的少年人，缺乏经验也缺乏技术。
第一个音乐人在第二环节的敬拜赞美中，无法专心敬拜。他专心地听他们的音乐，不断以批判的角度批评这班少年人，那他们与之前的团队比较，甚至质疑他们台前事奉的资格。突然间，他发现另外一个音乐人还陶醉在敬拜赞美中，甚至感动得流下眼泪。散会后，他就走去问这位音乐人，为何能陶醉在这样的音乐里。这位音乐人说：你不觉得这班少年人的敬拜赞美很可爱很诚恳吗？很值得感恩吗？他们没有好的音乐技术，但却有很强烈的事奉的心。

一颗敬拜的心，来到神面前，就会自然的敬拜。
敬拜的心，不被周围的环境所影响，而影响所看的事，使人眼里充满善，看见的经历的都变得美好。
敬拜的心，不需要被人的引导去敬拜，而会自然的引导人去敬拜。
敬拜的心，使人的伤害得到医治，疲累得着力量。

* 当下的后现代教会，很多都陷入一种属灵危机，强调所谓的“敬拜的属灵气氛”。可是，真正的敬拜是从内心发出，而影响你所听所看到的。带着敬拜的心，就会把他人的不足看成他们的可爱之处。

Family Camp 2010!

On the 27th to the 29th of August (yes, that's about four months ago), USMkkjCF had our annual family camp!

This time we decided to go a little further from our usual hangout (CCC) and ended up in a cozy little place in Cameron Highlands.

For the next few days, we've laugh, sang, ate, slept, known and of course joined our hands in worship to our Lord together.

We were blessed with the message brought by Michael William (without the "s") on understanding of our neighbours as well as our Christian responsibility to live our lives as Christ as called us to do. Not only among Christians but especially among others. Remember Luke 11:33 - No one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a secret place or under a basket, but on a lampstand, that those who come in may see the light.

Of course, this post would not be complete without a word of thanks for our Lord who has provided journey mercy, good fellowship, good food and most of all, good friends who have been present the entire time at the camp.

For further information on the family camp, please don't hesitate to ask any and every one of the participants. And last but not least, please do look forward to next year's camp^^

This entry is taken from my blog, it reminds me of when I was in campus where the urge and the want to get into relationship is HUGE!! Take this as a reminder for us to think of our motive and reason. Relationships in a complicated and touchy subject if one choose to look it with one owns wisdom. But let view in term of GOD sights.

We are living in a broken world where the line between right and wrong is blurring as man choose not to see. Let this serve as a wake up call that we have a GOD to look to and His name is Jesus!

In campus you could see guys and girl lives together in a room and of such. Some even change their partners very semester without thinking of the outcome.

Lets pray for them and for ourselves.

" Where am I now? Where are you now? "
There are a lot of journey in our life, and the journey never bring you to the destination easily, you definitely have to go through a lot of obstacles to reach your destination, or to reach where you standing now. Do you ever wonder, whether the journey had pull you down, or slow you down to reach your destination? Don't ever let the past to drag you, let the future bring you. The past is past, and the future is waiting, and where you standing now is the strong evidence of your life journey that tell you that you had reign over thousands of obstacles.
There is one thing I had learn, through the journey of my cycle backpacking. You never look to what you had giving out when you had reach the destination, you don't even remember how struggling you had when you already reach the top of the mountain, because where you standing told you that the past had past, and it bring you to where you standing now. I had conquered 170km journey on bike in 8 hours, there are more than thousand time I having the thought to just take a rest in the middle, find a place to sleep, or hitch a car, those negative thought never stop surrounding you when you are on the journey, is all about whether you beat down the negative though or you let them beat down you. But, when I finally reach the final destination, I felt all the effort I had given out is more than worth. With the rain and snow, the crystallize sweat cover the face, the tanned skin by the UV, the leg that almost malfunction, all of it become small little chunk victory for you to reach the final victory.
When I was looking back at my devotion, in my meditation, in my experience, a lot of time, I had been dragging by the past. I believe most people does the same thing. Did you ever feel guilty for the sins you had commit long time ago? Did you still live in the past of your memory? Jesus, the Lord Savior had wash away our sins, and He said he had forgiven us, when we come before His almighty throne. Do not let what you had done to led you away from the destination you want to reach, to build up the relationship you want to have. Those experience are meant to strengthen your wills, to grow you up to become what you meant to be, in His wills.
Learn to be gratitude to what ever the past was, the bad and the good. They shape you of what you are now. The sin you had commit, the thing you had done, it might still hurt, but when you turn to God, He always make them right to you, and He make them the stepping stone for you instead of falling stone.
What is your stand now? What is your goal now? What do you want to achieve now? Go for it because the time at front is still waiting for you to reach. Stand at where you are now, you will see the past had bring you to here; stand at where you wanna be, and you see what you need to do to be there.
God, please grant us the wisdom to know of our stand now, and our stand in the future. Not by our own wisdom, but in your leading.

One Life Revolution
As promoted in last few post, OLR were held from 10-13 Dec 2009 @ Bintang Megamall, Miri, Sarawak. 3 of us (Joy, Han Chiong and Evelyn Tan) work as voluntary in this event. It's a HIV/ AIDS awareness to the public where the public can experience themselves the life situation of the HIV/ AIDS patient. Besides, a booth to sponsor the children is set up for the public which required them to pay RM50 per month for a sponsor child. So often we heard pastor in churches to encourage us to give 10% of our harvest (first fruit) as an offering to God. And often we look at it as our money (income), but do we realize that time is also a gift and time being our income given by God?

Sports Day

Participants: Members of CF and Da Zhuan

Praise and worship lead by Ming Chung whereas Loong Wei played the guitar.
Divided into 4 groups. 2 games were played in the badminton court. 1st is using the strings provided to transfer the various kind of balls from one end to another end of the court and secondly is folding the newspaper into flight shape and throw it to the marked points badminton net. The day ended by singing 'Hari Ini' before some of us went to play badminton and some went to play captain ball.

One Life Revolution - a unique experiential exhibition will be in Miri!!!

World Vision's unique experiential exhibition -- One Life Revolution (OLR) -- will soon make its way to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and Miri, Sarawak.

OLR is an interactive experience that allows people to ‘walk in the shoes’ of others who have suffered social injustice. The life-size exhibition gives people the opportunity to come in direct contact with someone else’s life as they struggle to cope with HIV/AIDS and living in harsh conditions prone to child trafficking.

OLR is basically a public awareness and advocacy campaign. The exhibit aims to raise awareness, among Malaysians, of the plight of children affected by HIV/AIDS and child trafficking. It is hoped that having 'walked in the shoes' of the children featured, visitors would develop a sense of compassion and be challenged to help those affected in various capacities.

To make the exhibition a success, we need help! World Vision seeks your help as volunteers to set up, man and dismantle the exhibition (Usher/ ‘Sales’, distribute and collect MP3 Player, Health Clinic Attendant, Impact Centre, Merchandise / World Vision Booth). We need at least 100 volunteers at the exhibition to be held at Bintang Mega Mall, Miri.

CF Family Camp 2009

Theme: Following His Footsteps

Early August, the committee had several meetings to plan the flow and programs for the camp.

Day 1 (4 Sept 2009)
The participants were asked to wait for the bus at the lembaran cafe around 2pm.The bus arrived on time (SALUTE to the driver) and all the participants were so excited looking forward the camp. Had a prayer on the bus by the coordinator, Clement and the partipants get to chat and sleep during the road trip. Upon arrival, we get our stuffs, short briefing from coordinator; Joshua C, entering our respective room and started cleaning and tidy up the room. We had a short free time before the ice breaking session.The game masters, kheng swee and james gave a short briefing where we were asked to intro ourself including our nickname such as superman.After that, we had the ice breking session-Who am I. ......Dinner time then we had praise and worship lead by Joshua P and introduction of Squirrel and chestnut. Unlike previous years' honey and bee which require the bee to take care of their honey, the committee decided to set a task for every squirrel. Our 1st session- Who is Your Master.....After the session, we had group sharing and supper PLUS free time. i know most of you prefer to see pictures rather than the WORDS...hahaZ...i also lazy to write, write and write...so, i put the pictures and captions only larrr.....frankly, i started to feel pening pening as too many pictures taken during the camp and i duno which one shud i put. so, feel free to contact me if u want the pictures.

Day 2 (5 Sept 2009)
Morning started with a morning call by the camp coordinator. As im the only girl in this camp committee, the coordinator kept on calling me just to ensure that i woke all the girls up =.= then we had a morning exercise which followed by devotion. After devotion, we had bfast and continue with session 2- Knowing His Will, what is my Plan?? During this session, we are required to solve a puzzle and also made a puzzle for other teams to solve it. After that session, we had lunch followed by a good rest before the games. We had 4 games; namely Captain ball, rock-paper-scissors, balloon batttle and tug-of-war. After the fun games, we continue on with taking bath, dinner and next session on Who lives in USMKKJ and The Call before Us. Then, we had supper followed by sharing and fellowship time. The campers started with the mafia and also mahjong (i know most of u started with a question mark....mahjong in camp...). It's because we cant get any indoor games.

Day 3 (6 Sept 2009)
Today started with a morning call and devotion session before we had had our bfast. Then, we had a sharing session where Joshua Prakash and Bi Peen claimed that they graduated by attending all CF Family Camp in their uni life. After the sharing, we moved on revealing the squirrel and chestnut session which lotsa thing that you will never expect. Joshua C did tell Isaac that he was Isaac Squirrel but Isaac doesnt believe that. 'I just wanna shake hand with you", that's what Ivy told Richard when the identity revealed. Lotsa more funny thing happened and you should ask the campers about that. The campers did a great job by completing the task that the committee set and also play the role as a squirrel.Some of the task are sitting with your chestnut for every session, sit on the swing with your chestnut, massage your chestnut, take random pictures with your chestnut and etc. We also have group washing dishes session after every meal.

After the revealing of Squirrel and Chestnut, we had a lunch and group photo taking session before heading back campus.

I know this is a HUGE delayed post. Sorry everyone...Been very busy with the activities carried on this 2 months >.< . The day started with a dim sum for breakfast before heading off to USM Main Campus. Chee Khoon's gang reached the campus earlier and went to one of the lecture hall to watch the live broadcast. Managed to see few seniors on screen. The van group reached later as they went to McD =.= The juniors feeling so excited, waiting the seniors to come out from the hall. It's like playing hide and seek. Everyone searching for this and that (im refering to seniors lar...). Seniors dressed like a professional that day; together with the purple 'jubah'. They always show a smiley face whenever we met them. Juniors were so busy giving out the gifts to the seniors, taking pictures with them, have a LONG chat and etc (cause too LONG didnt meet them and TOO MISS them mar..). Get to take few pictures (it's hard to take a complete one group photo as everyone was so busy finding theirs abang and kakak instead of the CF Seniors). so, here is GOODNESS CG... wuhoo...CF Family Photo....we are 2nd year CF-ers!!!! PATIENCE CG!! after convo, we bid goodbye to senior before heading off to Queensbay for lunch, movie, window shopping and etc. lolZ..met up few seniors there (mostly with their family). Then we had a steamboat at Golden Steamboat Restaurant.Seniors mostly couldnt join us for dinner so the juniors SS lor... too double 'S' till dancing with the tiang..oops..bee ping, behave yourself ya~~~ and who is senior, who is junior???can guess??? after dinner, some went to 'pasar malam' in BAtu Ferengghi and some 'ronda ronda penang' before heading back to our staying place, Sri Sayang. Few seniors joined us after that and get to chat with them. We even hold a prayer meet thought we cancelled it earlier due to convo. As the prayer coordinator (you know who you are) said, 'SO DO YOU THINK YOU CAN SKIP PRAYER MEET???". Some went to beach and i dont know what happened there as i ZZZ earlier due to headache. The next morning, we went to gurney and have a walk before heading back to USM KKj. A group photo at the place we stay; Sri Sayang.

Day 3

Day 3 beckons and we are called to pray once again. For the many people in our country, the many people around us, the many people we see but do not greet.

Remember the people we sideline in our daily lives, remember the people that our nation seem to have forgotten. Pray that we'll develop a heart of compassion, a heart that is after God's own heart. Pray that the Lord will bless us with a great spiritual awakening in our nation as well as the workers for the harvest. If our Lord moves us to be amongst the harvest, pray for strength and go forth. Pray that our churches will focus more on the people that surrounds them and not the building that they inhabit. Pray that the blindfolds of the believers will be removed and that we'll move out and seek the lost souls in our land especially amongst the indegenous people that have not heard of the Gospel.

As we make our way to our lectures, remember those that we sideline in our daily lives, pray and act in faith. Remember the words of our Lord in Matthew 28:19, "Therefore go and make diciples in all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit".

As day 2 dawned during the period of fast and pray for 40 days, we reflect upon the the place, the nation that we call home. Although Malaysia has been used time and time again to symbolize racial and cultural unity yet we know that the very fabric of it has been stretched thin especially during these times.
There are those who wish for a monoethnic nation, there are those who only befriend those of the same tongue yet we all must remember that God placed each and everyone of us where we are today. Let us make full use of it and allow God to use us to reach unbelievers regardless of race and creed.

In John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only son; that whosoever believes in Him will have eternal life". If God loves the very people that surround us everyday despite their differences with us, who are we to do otherwise? Are we greater than the Creator HImself? Surely not!

Instead, let us meditate upon the words of our Lord and pray that we can make a difference in this land we call home. Pray that the people in this land will be 'colourblind' and treat each other with love that God so commanded us to. Pray that the Lord will open our hearts and our hands so that we may be a living testimony to the people around us, that they'll see that language and culture won't be able to stop the work of God. Pray.

There were 3 cars(aaron, joshua chan, nicholas) travelled to Penang Island....Joshua went earlier as he needs to buy other ingredients for the BBQ. Nicholas travel around 3.45pm while aaron's gang travel around 4.30pm. We went to check in first before we went to the beach around 6pm something. Enjoying the sightseeing.... while practising karate... 2 Sarawakian+Gals in action... seeing the 'Penang' Girls where they wore bikini...all the guys were comparing between 'sarawakian' and 'penang-ist' where 'penang-ish' won by 3-0. set the fire before the aaron's gang reach...somehow....the fire still need someone pro to set it on...mr. tau kie and clement (aaron's gang) reached and helped to set the fire...so next time if we have BBQ, u know must invite who liao hoooo.... the fire is set and everyone was so busy taking picture (excluded me as my hand is full with BBQ sauce)so busy BBQ-ing the food...we BBQ-ed chicken wings, hotdogs, meatballs, bread (spread wit garlic+butter prepared by JC, isaac n chuang ki...), potatoes, hamburgers, marshmallow picture plus picture plus picture time..oh ya, sze-lyn joined us after that...some of us went to jalan jalan along the beach and saw lotsa 'interesting' dramatic scene...then the guys were playing some magic-kononnya la....(the hot charcoal plus the ice.... then we went back to the place we stay then everyone was blocking the bathroom....lolZ...at night, some were playing cards, some were playing mahjong, the girls had 'girls talk' and joined the guys for real ghost stories talk.....

everyone woke up late today....well...i not sure as by the time i woke up, mostly were still lazy lying on the bed....aaron kor kor was very busy asking people to wake up as his stomach is craving for food..hahaZ...edmond gave a FREE mini concert while waiting others to get prepared..hahaZ..we took several group photos before leaving...in the living room..and we noticed that the view was not really nice...so we decided to take in the guys ZZZ room...wow...then...we pun cari kedai for our LATE BREAKFAST lo...it was 11am plus..lolZ...went to ere and thr for NICE FOOD...but somehow...momst of the shop closed...gosh...then Nicholas tried for his last chance somewhere around Queensbay Mall...well....we found it and had a nice food there...i forgot what the shop name...the shop people busy preparing the food..err...miss out another 'herbal chicken' and wantan...the medium size of the mee...forgot wat is this mee called..mostly people took large plate la... everyone so busy makan... sempat pose lagi...lolZ..then we went to Queensbay lo...some went shopping, some went to watch movie and some went to....duno where la...takkan i split ere n thr..check out wat they did meh.....met up wit sui ying, ex-CF member and had a nice fellowship at Kim Gary...around 7pm, we met up and went to University Heights....oh no...wat are we going to do there????deng deng deng.... we joined the 'connexion' gathering....at there, we met up with missionaries and Christians from various countries such as USA, Iran, China n etc...they were so excited to see each other and busy chatting among themselves...they even shared the customs with others...i forgot this Iranese girl name but she played the white instrument (namely Daff-i asked her) very well...everyone was trying to play but it's kinda hard to master it in few minutes...
then, we have praise and worship before the ice breaking and games session.. bible study came next but sadly we couldnt join cause we are rushing to the bus stop... 9 of us (excluded JC, chin hwa, aaron, chuang ki) used 9.15pm bus straight back to campus....sure all of you will surprise for not seeing Nicholas name in the stay back team....well...we challenged him by taking bus back camppus and he really did...i think that's his 23 years achievement in his life and also his achievement as final year in USMKKJ....he even walked from the uni gate till his hostel room (but he claimed that he walked 12km during his LI in Japan)...well...we knew that he doesnt know how to ride a bicycle..should we all challenge him for that???? we will see........took the picture to prove that Nicholass really ride on A BUS!!!!
The Condo Stay trip was very fun and exciting...we were planning for our next CF trip....anyone have any sugeestion???mayb Ipoh is our upcomin trip.....Ipoh mali mali.....

As I woke up this morning, got ready for class and started to walk, I can't help but wonder how will the day be like for me. Today was different. Today I wanted to just ignore everything and go back to bed but I cannot.

With assignments pilling up as well as the 30 hour famine closing in, not to mention other responsibilities such as being the fellowship coordinator and trying to pull in members for the debate union among others, I start to wonder if everything was worth it. I start to wonder if today was worth going through at all.

With that in mind, a sunday school song literally popped into my mind.
This is the day,

I think most of you will surprise when you see the venue for this year Welcoming Nite. Well, sorry for late in applying the DK11 as it was booked by the Persatuan Tiong Hua for 'li sheng'. Gone through lotsa prosedure and watse lotsa time in WAITING for the approval for A ROOM for our Welcoming Night. Went to Jabatan Pendaftar, Chemical School and finally Material School. Until the very last day (the Welcoming Night that day itself) also facing some problems as we booked BSK1 but by the time i went to take the key, somehow there was some misunderstanding between Kak Intan and Mr.Chuah. Nevertheless, really lucky that we still have a place to carry out this activity.

The Committee went earlier to set up the instruments and get ready for the night. Members started to fill the room around 7.30pm and can be said the room is 3/4 filled with human. Wow..I believe God has His own plan as if let say we booked DK11, there will not be enough space for the members to fill in. The night started with Praise and Worship at 7.45pm. 4 songs were sang, which included God is Moving, 生命在於你 (My Life is in You), God of this city and One voice.Then the intro of CF Committee 2009/2010.

The night followed by the miss President, Hooi Keng's speech and promo on the 30-hour Famine. Then the Welcoming Night Video done by both Joshua (Chan and Joshua Prakash) and also the CF Family Camp Video done by Tau Kie and Edmond.The Organising Chair, joshua Chan and Clement Chhin also took this opportunity to promote the CF Family Camp. Followed by the Da Zhuan President, Chin Mei's speech and they are promoting the Da Zhuan Family Camp too. A sketch directed by so called famous China director, Keng Swee really made all the people night burst into a smiley face. The sketch was really nice and cool(thanks to the script writer aaron).

2 games were played that night. Thanks to the game master for the intersting game where everyone get involved in it. The finale of the night was the refreshment. Seems like everyone LOVE the refreshment prepared by Nic n Clement as we can see a clean bowl after that. Lol...Hope to see you all again in upcoming CF meeting.... Well..thanks to the Mechanic School student in helping to clean the Material School that night

Welcome back to all the CF-ers. Welcome back to other USM students and also a HELLO to the new intake students to this ulu ulu place. Well, the 1st week in uni is a BUSY and RUSH week for most CF committee and members as the exhibition is carried out in the 1st week of uni reopen and also welcoming nite is on the following week.so, basically we only have 1-2 days to prepare the material for the exhibition. Our P.I.C (person in charge); Isaac should be most headache as he needs to find his kaki to help him out for both exhibition and welcoming nite.

All CG take turn to look after the booth and there are 39 new students that approached our booth during the exhibition.Thanks to seniors for the prayer. We also combined with Golden Key regarding the 30 Hour Famine promotion. Golden Key did a good job and do keep '30 Hour Famine' in your prayer list.

Haha since I blogged this in my blog, Joy asked me blog this here also. A month ago, we had our CF reunion dinner haha......well some what. It was actually one of my seniors wedding and of course it's only during weddings that the seniors can get together.

Of course haha the photo is not that great compare to Jentol's quality but it just shows you how the CF was a few years ago. The bride and bridegroom (Siou Lian and Felix) were CF members as well and they were the golden couple cause people who got into a relationship will try to model after them (including myself and Sui Ying). From the picture, you can see the youngest would be Chuang Ki. He represented the CF juniors now. The next batch is those who just graduated this year. They were in 1st year when Felix and Siou Lian were in their final year. After that is Sui Ying and Kok Mun's batch. Coming to mine and was glad to see my CF kakis there. Of course after that was my seniors. There were seniors up to when I was in 1st yr (sorry Su Anne but looks like you are the eldest). But all in all it was a good time to catch up and also to introduce some of the juniors to the seniors. It was also a gathering of ex presidents. There were 3 presidents there (Simon, Max and Jonathan) and of course a whole list of vice presidents (Yours truly, Sui Ying, Kok Mun, Loon Chong, Jonathan, Jinny and Jason). I can go on and on but the truth is, the CF has a strong legacy and it is the seniors prayer that what the CF did for us will do the same for the juniors.

Here are some updates. Now Camp Cam 09’ has come to the 1st week (out of 3week). And we have finished the series on “Redeeming Relationship with self and God” and the first part of “The Odyssey of The People of God”. Here are some pictures which I manage to capture on the outing day to the BOH Tea Plantation after chapel on Thursday afternoon. It was fun catching up with CF member! Grace Kong Song Peng finally straighten her hair and she look beautiful.. :p Isaac became the father and Ann Nee and Derrick are the eldest in the family. Frog is quiet and Chuang Ki is doing fine.

Camp Cameron & SWEEP 2009

Argh..Bored-nyer..What i can say at the moment is I AM JEALOUS WITH THOSE WHO ARE GOING TO CAMP CAMERON(3 weeks camp) THIS YEAR!!!!! Well..I hope i wont miss it next year..Our zac zac sms-ed this afternoon (around 12pm), saying that he's on the way to Cameron with Chin Hwa and Derrick. He claimed that the aircond for the bus is s*ck and obviously can see other people also complaining bout that. If not mistaken, they started bus around 9am and around 3pm he sms-ed me saying that he still stucked in the bus and starving cause havent had lunch yet. Well, it's time for you to prepare for the 30-Hour Famine Mr. Isaac. lolZ..Around 6pm, i replied his sms and he told me that he's playing UNO with his family and seems like he enjoyed the camp very much. So, hope others also enjoy this camp and will share their experiences when they come back. Presenting those who are going for the camp cam this year~~
Oh ya, Mr.Isaac also selected become 'PAPA' for his family =) Besides, Hooi Keng and Jinny are going for SWEEP. It's not the 'sweep' that you all thought. SWEEP is "Social Work Exposure Embracement Program" and going to be held on 15-28 June 2009. So, awaiting to hear something bout SWEEP from both of them soon.

It's been one scary experience. Well, I suppose it does make sense since most working couples in first world countries are deciding to have less or no children due to their excessively busy lifestyle.

After watching something like that, a few issues popped into my mind. World population, resources and christian fertility.

Taking them one by one, I'll start off with world population. The current world population is more than 6 billion people, yes, that's 6 followed by nine zeros. World governments are already complaining of declining global resources and another 50 years into the future doesn't really paint a rosy picture. However, we being in Malaysia won't feel much of a pinch however it is important to take note of our responsibilities in these situations. Heard of the 30 hour famine? Yea, we're gonna do it soon. Hopefully it'll make people realize the dire situation that is about to hit soon.

From that short clip, the message relayed to me is that christians should reproduce more. Yea, being a sustainable culture and all that. Looking at the fertility rates of the non-muslim families for the past 20 years in Malaysia can already comfirm the statictics. Most working couples would have less or no children because of their excessively busy lifestyle, and christian couples are not spared too. God did say "go forth and multiply" way back in Genesis. So for the seniors who are planning on getting hitched or already tied the knot, feel free to let loose a few mini versions of yourselves into the world XD

So for those reading this piece, you know what you should do XD

30-hour Famine 2009 by World Vision Malaysia

Aloha!!!Guess everyone is having a sweet HOLIDAY now but not for 4 of us (we need to work as part time to update this blog) >.< Well, im gonna spread (urghh...guess have better word for this) or updated with programs that are going to be held.

As our new Theme for this term is "Building Up, Reaching Out", we are going to organise a charity work namely "30-Hour Famine". For those who do not know about 30-Hour Famine, the 30-Hour Famine is a global movement against hunger and poverty. Participants go without food for 30 hours and get a glimpse of the dire conditions that children and families in need endure every day.They also raise funds, transforming their hunger into hope for children and families in need. The Famine aims to inspire and empower ordinary people to care for those in need, both locally and globally.

The 30-Hour Famine DIY Camp will be held in Main Hall, USM KKJ from 22 to 23 August 2009.The theme for this DIY camp is "You've Got The Power". We estimated 150 participants from inside and outside campus.
The minimum donation required for ALL famine participants (those who join DIY camp) is:
• RM80 for students/non-working adults
• RM120 for working adults
For those who decide to fast on their own (non-participants), they can give donations of any amount.The camp fee (including T-Shirt) for participant is RM20-RM30 (still in consideration).
Note: Please remember that you can only ask for donations from friends and family. Door-to-door or public solicitation is not permitted.

Many people have been asking us why is Aaron's and Joshua's name still there? Well it it because Josh and I have decided to stick around (haha and by that doesn't mean we are doing masters or PhD). We've decided to be the eyes and ears for our beloved juniors of what's happening with your seniors. The idea of this blog was for seniors to log in as well and share their life experience as working people and also to keep in touch with the happenings of the cf and also to keep in touch with one another. As they say the world is small and with this blog I hope it will become smaller :)

As for now, I'm still in campus as everyone goes back for their holidays. I will be updating on the administration side of USM if any (eg course registration etc) and also what is happening in USM KKj itself. Heard that Desa Jaya is going through some renovation so I'll update when I can see then finished product. Other than that, I'll update on the ongoings of the seniors (just graduated) and see where they are at :)

Beloved JP will be spending time in Sungai Buloh, not prison mind you, but working (although it is in the same area...).

Dearest Giap Ho will be doing his training in Kulim...I think it's at the high tech park, perhaps? XD

Adorable Nicholas (Nicholidas by some...) will be far, far away in the land of giant robots, girls with super-human powers...that's right! You guessed it, JAPAN!!! (He says please be on9 especially on weekends to relieve him of his boredom. You know what to do, people!)

Bi Peen the amazing will do his Industrial thingy in...come on...guess it...PENANG!!! Yea, yea...we've seen penang one too many times but it's home sweet home for him~~~XD

Sadly, all is not as rosy...our darling twins have been separated!!! Loong Wei will be doing his training on the beautiful island of Langkawi (island training, anyone?) While Loong Yen will be doing his in Alor Setar. Oh well, as long as he is there, I suppose he can go pay visits to our honored Madam President. *Salute*

Okay, first off, gotta apologise for the absense of pics in this post...(sorry, i'm not a camera person)

Last. Night. Was. A. Blast.

From the beginning till the end. Ok, this might be really nothing to seniors but it's pretty much "wild" to me(yes, i'm a n00b...)

Impromtu decision to go Juru just for the fun of it. Right in the middle of finals. Boarded the Ol'CF van, with only one goal in mind, JURU!!!!

Imagine, 10 people stuffed into the van like sandines (I think I should stop here 'cause I was the one calling dibs on the front seat. Bwahahaha), ended up at Old Town.

During the "yumcha", weird topics somehow came up. Seemingly out of nowhere. From Aaron's job to various topics that are not for the faint hearted(or below people below 18 =P) to Da Vinci's Code by Dan Brown! (If you really wanna know what we talked about, just ask derrick, jason, nick, loong wei, jp, pres yeoh, sze ling, ming chung or aaron =P)

Before we knew it, it was almost 2am.Paid the bill. Went for 2nd round at McD(I can just smell the awe and jealously from you readers already...)

And this guy here arrived in his room finally at the unearthly hour of 2.30 in the morning...

Committee Planning Retreat (CPR) for Semester 1, 2009/2010 was held at Rumah Gunung Hijau, Maxwell Hill from 3 to 5 April. All committee attended this CPR included our FES worker, Yew Kong. The main purpose is to plan the activities for upcoming batch and evaluate last semester's programs, objectives and goals. New theme was set; which is 'Building Up, Reaching Out'. 4 objectives and 7 goals were set- committee's new challengges in CF. Before we went to Maxwell Hill, seniors did give some advice; 'bring more food'. Lolz...."Seniors, the food is sufficient~~". So, let pictures take the role of this whole CPR ^.^

After emo Farewell last night, we all had fun at Tao. Actually it's Passion CG Dinner but ended up all CG planned to go together cause of 5+1 Promotion. Lol...Anyways, this outing really meant a lot to CF (can be said last CG Outing for 08/09 batch). Oh ya , not forgotten Goodness CG celebrated their cg member (Tau Kie) birthday. aLL of us busy taking pictures as remembrance before leaving ^.^

CF Farewell

1st April 2009 is a normal 'April Fool' for everyone but for CF members, today might be a memorable date for seniors who are going to graduate soon. Time passes very fast and it's time to say goodbye. Thought it's hard to let such a bunch of crazy, nice and sporting monkey (oops...should be SENIORS), life needs to go on. The night began with praise and worship lead by Terence, back up by Isaac, James the pianist and Loong Wei the guitarist. We can see a new generation is born and really need to give them more support for showing up just to worship God. The night followed by a game and a mime entitled 'Find Us Faithful' by seniors.Aaron kor kor giving some explanation on the mime they're going to do. Everyone is wearing BLACK... Then followed by sharing~~~ Jinny and Aaron sang a song entitled 'Friends' before the OC- Grace gave them the souvenire. We're expecting a good feedback from seniors on the souvenire. Juniors really put lotsa effort on it~~Last but not least, we wish you all have a great time tonight and do visit us when you guys are free~~TAKE CARE SENIORS!!!

Oh NO soooooooooooooo soooooorrrryyyyyyyy gang!!! This blog was not updated for a very long time.......so so sorry. The fact that is very hard to be accessed in the hostel making it hard for us to update it....But anyhoo........I'm here to give some good news to all......No it's not just the gospel....haha. As you all know, this site is also for our seniors/alumni to visit and to catch up with the CF. It also serves as site to catch up with them....what a good way to start by talking about weddings......Ah yes.......2009 will see and have seen some of our seniors getting married....

We start with January 2009: Chan Keng Wai (grad 2006 Mechanical Engineering and former CGL)

New Year Experience

"5...4...3...2...1...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!" That's how most of world celebrated the coming of the new year. Not me, not the small group of friends that was with me for the few hours. Let's just rewind this to December 31st 2008...

James, Kheng Swee and I readily got ourselves after class for the long journey ahead of us, a journey into the heart of the beast, into the jungle of modernisation, a journey to the island of Penang. We took the taxi, bus, ferry and finally Rapid Penang to the Queensbay Mall.

Okay, this is where the fun part starts. During the entire journey, there's an ongoing debate about what do guys need to do or have to be able to win a gal's heart. And the debate kind of went awry and climaxed during our late lunch because I wanted to stay at the mall and catch a movie but Kheng Swee was concerned about the plans that were made. Note that this particular topic had been talked over and over again without relent from both sides.

"Isaac, you have gotta put yourself into other people's shoes! You cannot place yourself at the center of decisions all the time!"

"What?! Queensbay is pretty near to USM so they can get here easily and chances are they don't have any plans for the night or they would've told us already."

"Isaac, there's already a plan for us to meet them in the campus at 7pm. Don't just think of your own enjoyment!"

That was only a small chunk in what occured during our lunch. The short version is that we finally decided that going to meet the others was the better choice and we patched up our differences on the way.

What happened within the following few hours would include us buying snacks (and liquor) for the night and catching a bus to Tanjung Bunga. We booked a room in a motel there in advance and we checked in.

The following is where everything interesting begins. We decided to take the bus to Ferringi Beach to check out what's happening in the area but to our dismay we waited for a good half an hour for nothing...too bad. On the bright side, we did take some pretty good photos at the small bus stand. And we met a foreign couple who were in the same predicament.

We had our supper and we didn't realize it's already midnight. Fireworks were blooming in the night sky lighted by the nearby hotels. We chased down the fireworks to take a few good shots and I think it's quite pretty.

We took a walk on the beach where we enjoyed the cool sea breeze at night while taking each other's company. James and Kheng Swee were busy trying not to get their expensive shoes wet to the extent it became a game between the 2 of them. And yea, James screamed like a girl at one point when his shoes did finally get wet.

After which we retired to our room and the Game of truth or dare commenced. The startling part of this entire situation is that James, Kheng Swee and I were sharing the room with 2 girls. Our friends but still a pretty big thing as none of us have ever done anything like it before.

Liquor was thrown into the mix of the game and the results were pretty funny. Somehow no one took a picture of drunk James but there's a picture of almost drunk Kheng Swee. As the picture shows, the situation continued for another few hours until 6am in the morning where all of us were either too drunk to stay awake or just too tired and we tanked.

Morning came and we pretty much packed up and left to our own respective campus. What I feel is that God was very gracious to us that very night. He was there when Kheng Swee and I had a fight. He was there to help us secure the room even though we were 2 hours too late for check in. Most importantly, He was there to keep our minds sober enough to not do things that will potentially harm us.

WELCOME BACK

Hello everyone,

Pardon us for not updating, but the internet line here is bad so we are having problem to blog in desa. But please be patient....

WELCOME BACK people to a whole new semester, although this week is already minggu ketiga but hey it's the beginning of the new year. And new year usually comes with new year hopes and dreams. Hope that God will be able to continue to show you His marvellous plans for you this year.

Now back to CF matters....it's going to be a rocking good semester with lots to do and lots to share about. Just some highlites:

1) Evangelistic Nite - Themed as "Who Am I?". The 3rd concert ever to be held (the 1st was in 2004) in USM KKj. Get ready to rock USM and to pray for our campus.

2) Mission Trip - Our annual trip to Pulau Banding will be held again. It's a life enriching experience (and for some life changing). So don't hesitate to sign up.

3) Small Town Retreat - Another semester ending program to bless a small town community. It's a relaxing and yet eye opening event.

4) WI Jonah - We did it in bible study now reexperience Jonah again in this new FES program. Held in Penang, it's going to be the largest gathering of Northern campuses.

Blackout..

On the 2nd of November 2008 student who will be staying in campus will experience a period of blackout which will begin from 10am till 6pm the same day. It is advised to be prepared. Do tell your friends. For more information, please refer to the notice board in Lembaran Café.

Time is passing away as the finals come to a close. Well, it’s hard to know that deadlines are catching up and the most time, things don’t go your way. Things are getting busy and out of hand!! But hay, don’t worry God says…. And thank God for his gift of love and peace.

Postmodernism

Last Wed(8th Oct 08’) in CF meeting, we have invited Sis. Swee Kit from FES to talk on the topic “Hidden Crisis and Influence of Postmodernism in Our Churches Nowadays”.

The whole idea was centred on the word “Postmodernism” or in layman’s term “world view” which is some thing that we all who lived on earth can’t escape. To understand what is this all about, we first must know the history of how human view on earth have change and from it, to know how we come to be at this stage that we call “Post-modern period”

In human history, human has gone through 3 major world view shift (changers) that is, Pre- modern, modern, and post modern. As show below’s illustration (taken from the book "The Emerging Church" by Dan Kimball):

As a reaction to modern view point where God has been marginalise and we celebrate self centeredness. Thus through this human’s will power many scientific discovery were made and the human race progressed. But from this Nazism, communism and other such grew and cause wars due to the different political view point and social style. It is a reaction to human misery that we face.

Also note that we are now in the beginning of a new era where Postmodernism is starting to grow. As surely we can’t escape it, it brings opportunities and fear at the same time. Fear as we no one know where this might lead us to. Will we able to work together to be like those people in Star Trek to reach the starts (where money is no value and community live together) or are we to burn ourselves down and wage war like Star Wars? No one knows.

But there are great opportunities for us all as we are able to shape and to determine what Postmodernism is as we are at the beginning where it is still forming. It’s an exciting time when we view it as such. This is because there is a great openness as we are all living in an EPIC culture.

EPIC stands for

Experiential ~ immersion living (not to just see, hear, touch but to “feel”)
Participatory ~ content providers (look at the emerging TV show such as Malaysia Idol which wants you to vote your winner and this kind of show are a hit!)
Image-driven ~ story and metaphor (people are reading less)
Connected ~ individuals in community (staying and longing to be connected as such on the internet)

How do we apply this on our CF and our church?

Let’s welcome it and let’s go back to the past where prayers and symbols may help to bring more people to the church. Such as when the churches were formed, where people live as one and people are willing to sell their properties to help others.

FTA (Free Trade Agreement)

Well you might be wonder, why is this post doing in the CF blog, I can tell you it is because WE NEED TO KNOW. It’s our country and it’s the role for us to know what is happening in the real world. When people ask about such issue, we Christian will know what is going on outside! We have been living in our own world mini world of ideal. We are living in the world but not of the world remember??

In recent month or may be years, there was an unspoken topic about FTA (Free Trade Agreement) between the US and Malaysia. What is the FTA means? Free trade is a system in which the trade of goods and services between or within countries flows unhindered by government-imposed restrictions.

Free trade is a term in economics and government that includes:

Trade of goods without taxes (including tariffs) or other trade barriers (e.g., quotas on imports or subsidies for producers)
Trade in services without taxes or other trade barriers
The absence of trade-distorting policies (such as taxes, subsidies, regulations or laws) that give some firms, households or factors of production an advantage over others
Free access to markets
Free access to market information
Inability of firms to distort markets through government-imposed monopoly or oligopoly power
The free movement of labour between and within countries
The free movement of capital between and within countries

In other words, Malaysian farmers have to compete with GM food (Genetic Mutated food) from the US which is better. That will put these farmers out of business! Thus, they can’t even keep up with the imported rice from Thailand which is cheap and good!

What about the country laws are bound to this Trade Agreement. Which mean it’s not free to create its law! Just like the World Bank want people to borrow money from them so that they can get a hold on their economy!Our oil reserves will not be ours as the US are able to buy it without tax! in other words we cant tax them!!

on another hand this will change the whole structure of Malaysia economy, look at Proton, they might end up making batter quality cars to rival with those of Ford and GM cars... Not just this, it might just give Malaysia the push to change the 3rd world mentality that we all have into a country that has the ability to rival the US!

this above are my 2cents. not oppose it entirely but hope it will be a change for the better!! Well I leave this issue for you readers to think as it may be an eye opener!

Lately the Malaysian government are resuming FTA talks with the US to go on with the plan to agree with the FTA in Malaysia and US. At lease you know!

USM KKJ CF Family Camp 2008
Location : CCC Penang Batu Feringgi
Theme : Baring the fruit of the spirit

WOW! The long awaited camp since the beginning of ages has finally come to pass! The USM KKJ CF Family Camp08’. The journey to CCC was quite fast. Although it was raining when we left campus, thankfully, it only drizzled when we reached there. After some time freshening up, we had out first session. We all set out who is whose honey and who is whose bee. Then we had out first session with Sis Annette. The message was a personal commitment about whether or not we are bearing the fruit of the spirit. Even if we falter in one element of the fruit, we still don’t bear the fruit. The message got most of us thinking about it. We had some ‘bonding session’ after that: some played board games and some chit-chatting.

The second day started off with the morning exercise. It was still so early in the morning, so most of the moves registered to our head 5s late. The verse we pondered upon for devotion was John 21:15-17. I believe God spoke to the campers in His own way through this verse. After our breakfast, we had our second session. It was about being a ‘kay-poh-chee’ and not being a ‘cannibal’. This past of the message got us thinking about our relationship with the people around us- does everything revolve around us? Or are we looking out for one another? The workshop that we had after that was writing poems- to be in touch with our ‘creative’ side. It was strange, but really fun. After our lunch and a time of rest, we had games. Everyone so semangat playing- started raining already and we still went on. Even after that we played more games – arm wrestling. During the rest time, some went to rest, while some played games.

After our dinner, the third session began and this message was really good- a commitment to God, commitment to ourselves, commitment to do our best in whatever situation it is we are in, a commitment to live our lives as a blessing to the people around us. We had a time of sharing, and we really got to know our group members more through this time of sharing. After that everyone had supper and still got semangat to play games. This night we stayed up a little late ‘coz it’s the last night there.

Early next morning, after P&W, we had our time of sharing with each other. From that, we can all tell that this camp has been a refreshing time for all of us. The message really got us all thinking and it is definitely something to take home. Now that we know the theory part of it, we shall try to put it into practice. Next we had the honey and bee session and some time to lepak around before we left.

曾经有一个完美的营会摆在我面前,我没有好好珍惜,等营会结束的时候我才后悔莫及,如果上天能给我一个再来一次的机会,我一定会说:
“我可不可以不吃Aaron咬过的口香糖!”]

这是我入学以来第一次参加的CF camp。如果要我用一个字形容这个camp，我会说:”讚!”(我绝对不是在拍马屁)。老实说,这个camp跟我想象的差得蛮多。就说天气吧！在这三天两夜里，营会的活动几乎都是在雨天进行。去的时候下雨，吃饭时下雨，连游戏时也下雨，唉…… 但是，这雨是绝对浇不熄大伙的兴致。这点我们绝对可以从在沙滩上抢报纸的游戏中看出来

现在就来说说这camp发生的一些趣事吧！首先就是honey and bee的游戏。这个游戏就是让大家变成bee来照顾自己的honey。所以呢，收不收到礼物就要看你的Bee对你好不好啦。(当然，如果你收不到礼物，你可以学学Jason，直接留言在礼物箱!哈…)其外，就说说我们的游戏吧！我们共分成4组，分别是:’Agape, Chara , Eirene和Makrothumia。我们进行的游戏不多,有拔河,前面所说的抢报纸啦,还有一个XX ball啦(不好意思,我忘记那个游戏叫什么名了…)。游戏才进行到一半，老天似乎也想参一份。雨水一滴一滴慢慢地下，过后变成哗啦啦的傾盆大雨。大家都湿透了，但是谁在乎呢?试问有多少机会可以让我们一起淋雨淋得那么爽呢?

此外，当然还有很多有趣的细节和活动我无法一一地列出，很多感受无法一一地释怀…总的来说，这camp带给我最大的收获,莫属Annette带给我们的信息吧:”Bearing the fruit of spirit.”虽然要在灵命上结果是不容易的,但且让我们一起努力,一起追求神的话语.=)
最后,我要谢谢这雨天,谢谢这海滩,谢谢CF和大专的每个人,谢谢耶和华. 因为如果不是这样的雨天,如果不是这样的情景,如果不是这样的你和我,如果不是这伟大的神,这个camp也不会如此精彩,如此绚烂. 时间不断地向前迈进,营会里的情景也慢慢地变成旧相片.这样的回忆,是你我所珍惜的.我想说:”谢谢你们.”愿神祝福你们!

CF Family Camp 2008 ---在Batu Ferringghi 的Christian Convention Centre见证了圣灵所结的果子。何谓圣灵果子？圣灵果子乃是仁爱、喜乐、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信实、温柔、节制。
整个营会牵引着我们怦然的心动，让我们跟着音乐的旋律，在主的跟前敬拜祂赞美祂。离开校园，抛开烦恼和压力，以平静的心接受圣灵的洗礼。

此营会给予我们充裕的时间和空间，自由地活动，自在地交流，建立主内的圈子。适逢雨季，那三天都下着滂沱大雨，但雨婆婆并无法阻止我们蠢蠢欲动的大专生。Rummy-O,Pictionary,Cluedo,Boggle……把我们紧紧捆绑至凌晨三点半，好不可思议！

讲员精湛的演说，让我们更信靠主，更亲近主。。。是的，我们很渺小，我们需要主的怜悯与恩赐！讲员滔滔不绝之余，不忘洞察我们的神情，掌控场面的气氛，将‘圣灵果子的生命力’注入我们心灵。真实的故事，心连心的分享，我们不禁潸然泪下，因主爱而流的泪。

严肃的，欢乐的，捣蛋的，搞笑的。。。这样的营会印象深刻。夜里，不甘愿早睡；晨里，不甘愿起身。学长学姐，笑话‘冷’到爆；学弟学妹，大胆地‘欺负’大方的seniors。更甚的是，聊着两性关系，两性矛盾，‘拼命’挖掘他人的秘密（有点不应该啦），聊到忘了时间，连瞌睡虫也拿我们没辙。种种对比，让彼此间的关系更加密切。

耳听到的，眼看到的，嘴说出的，心感应的，这些都见证了主在营会中的恩典。听着海浪声，心里的呐喊，心中的祷告。。。。。主，您听到了吗？

Welcoming Night (23/7/08)
This time around, it is not about the CF, but it is calling all Christians from all Christian organization in this campus to celebrate and to welcome the new student. This event is to tell the world that Christianity is not boring after all, but it’s a fun and a life full of excitement which we are all living for Jesus by having fun and games here. Around 50 students attainted this meeting. Oh ya, the night was hosted by JP and Hooi Keng!

USM granted APEX status

PUTRAJAYA: Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) has been granted apex status and hundreds of millions of ringgit in additional funding to transform it into Malaysia's first world-class university.

Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said that both quantitative and qualitative criteria were used to select USM under the accelerated programme for excellence (apex).

"The selection committee evaluated each university's state of readiness, transformation plan and preparedness for change.

"After a thorough evaluation, the committee decided that only one university truly met all the criteria, namely USM,'' said Khaled Wednesday in a press conference at his ministry. The Cabinet agreed to the decision at its meeting on Aug 27.

The university given apex status is one that has the greatest potential among Malaysian universities to be world-class, and as such, would be given additional assistance to compete with top-ranked global institutions, added Khaled.

With apex status, USM will be expected to move up the World University Rankings with a target of top 200 in five years' time and top 100, if not top 50, by 2020, he said.

In last year’s Times Higher Education-QS World University Rankings, Universiti Malaya (UM) was the highest ranked Malaysian university at 246, followed by USM at 307, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) at 309 and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) at 364.

A selection committee headed by former Universiti Malaysia Sarawak vice-chancellor Prof Emeritus Datuk Dr Mohamad Zawawi Ismail short-listed USM, UM, UKM and UPM.

USM's transformation plan, entitled Transforming Higher Education For A Sustainable Tomorrow focused, among other things, on diagnostics, medical biotechnology, waste management, pharmaceuticals, nano technology, carbon nanotube, membrane technology and vaccinology.

"I hope the apex status will spur other universities to strive for excellence too. It's not about selecting the oldest university but choosing one with a doable plan that can help us transform our higher education,'' said Khaled when asked why UM was not selected.

The other universities that applied for apex status were International Islamic University Malaysia, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi Petronas and Universiti Tenaga Nasional.

Khaled said that two more apex institutions would be selected among centres of excellence and newer, more specialised universities.

ONE LIFE, DO SOMETHING

God has given each and everyone of us one life...the big question is, are we using our lives for the betterment of His kingdom. That's what 3 of us were thinking when we were involved in the just concluded One Life Revolution (OLR) Exhibition organised by World Vision Malaysia. It was a great experience for me, Jinny and Simon. The whole OLR exhibition is about giving awareness to the public about HIV/AIDS. Actually it is to let the public walk in the shoes of a HIV infected patient. The whole exhibition also teaches the public about the stigma that HIV patients faced. One of the sayings on the wall was 'HIV kills the body, Discrimination kills the soul'. How many of us are willing to sit and talk with another person who has HIV? If we do, how many of us are willing to treat him/her like any other person that we meet?

The OLR Exhibition was held in Gurney Plaza from the 12th - 14th of August 2008. The next exhibition will be held in Kuantan in October before going round to Johore and ending in Kuala Lumpur in December. This exhibition is not your normal exhibition that you would usually go but it's an exhibition with a difference. Participants are invited to go on a journey as a HIV infected patient and listen to their story. The exhibition runs heavily on donation and also volunteers. I'm glad to be able to volunteer in their Penang run. Actually it touched me so much that I volunteered myself for the Kuantan run and also KL run. So if you are nearby those places, go and see for yourself.

OF WELCOME AND LAUNCHING

Hello everyone,

Minggu ketiga and keempat saw the welcoming of new students and also the launching of the Cell groups for this term. Welcoming nite was a great sucess, and we want here to continue to welcome our fellow first year students. We pray that you will see us a bigger family and also a place where you guys can grow spiritually. The nite started with praise and worship led by our wonderful Worship Coordinator, Terence and was followed by some video clips done by our professional videographer Joshua Entol. There was even a performance by a few of the CFers singing to the tune of 'Here in my Home' to encourage the juniors that consider CF your new home. The night was emceed by Hooi Kheng and Joshua Prakash who bombarded the floor with lame jokes and wise crack personality. Special commendation is given to Bi Peen and John Ho for organising the games and also Yan Wai and Nicholas for the wonderful food prepared. Here we would like to also say Good Job to the 2 Fellowship Coordinator, Jasmine and Jason Tay.

CG launching came next. A time to break the ice again between CG members. It was a great night although only a few came. But we continue to pray that the CGs will be a place of growth and love.

AMAZING GRACE

Minggu kedua saw our CF for the first time watching a movie. The movie was entitled Amazing Grace. Well like the title goes, the movie is not about how the hymn was written but what gave the writer John Newton the idea to write it. The movie is about the horrors of slavery and the whole slave trade and how William Wilberforce was fighting to make sure that the whole slave trade to be banished and made illegal. With his determination the bill for anti-slavery being passed in Parliment in 1807. The movie was directed by Michael Apted and stars Ioan Gruffudd and Albert Finney.

One of our members wrote:

"I enjoyed the movie a lot. It was very touching. The way Wilberforce and the others strived for the abolition of the slave trade actually made me think a lot. These people were fighting for humanity, regardless of the races. It actually reminded me of the orang asli in our country. Although they are not in captives, we have seen the condition of their living. Perhaps what we can do for them is little, but just do not forget about these less fortunate people in our lands that need our support and prayers." Jinny Yew, Final Year, Material Engineering

CPR

Minggu pertama has just passed. Fast ain't it? Haha well it's still a long way more, but as most of you guys know, time flies.

Our last CF meeting saw about 30 seniors coming back and reconnecting with one another. There was sharing of how people spent their holidays. Some were working as waitress and waiters, some were busy with their Industrial Training (John was actually asked to sleep at work :P) and some were away for camps. All in all they all shared how God moved in their lives and how they have learned to trust God. They were also laughter when everybody played charades and footionary.

The weekend also saw the CF committee going to Batu Feringghi for their CPR. Nope it's a not lesson on how to revive someone. It's called the Committee Planning Retreat. A retreat just for Committee members not to relax but to crack their head open to plan for the whole term. Haha if you guys forgot who the committees are, there will be a new post about them soon. So watch out this space. During the last day of the CPR, the committees took turns to share a little bit of their lives. From the sharing, you can see the many different types of background that each committee comes from and how each other brings a different gift to the CF. To the new committee all the best ya for the new term

Welcome Back CFers

Welcome back everyone. The last few days have seen many of you still scrambling about to confirm your registrations and finding new juniors to talk to. Some of you were seen illegally squatting in people's room. Some of you cannot tahan must go to pasar malam for the food. In any case, welcome back to another term. As we start this semester, let's prepare our hearts to see what God wants us to do this term.

Another person we want to welcome back is Chee Khoon aka Senior. Those who don't know him, Chee Khoon was the Secretary for the CF in the year 2005/2006 and also the Asst Secretary the following term. He graduated in 2007. After working for a year, he has decided to come back to USM to further his studies. With that we say Selamat Kembali Senior. haha (technically he is Junior now though :p)

This Wednesday will be our first CF meeting. Please be at Lembaran Cafe by 7pm so that we can arrange transportation for you. For those who are blessed with your own transportation, please come to the cafe to help transport people as well. Till tomorrow............

World Vision Malaysia is planning to organize a round of One Life Revolution in Penang.

Below are the tentative details (to be confirmed).

Date: 24/7/2008 (Thursday) to 27/7/2008 (Sunday)

Venue: Queensbay Mall, Penang Island

Time for exhibition(3 shifts available): 10am - 2pm, 2pm - 6pm, 6pm - 10pm

They will be needing volunteers to help on:
1. Promotion (around 3 days)
2. Set up (1 day before the exhibition begins)
3. Exhibition day (as stated above)
4. Packing & Dismantle (last day of exhibition)
Note: All volunteers are to arrive 1 hour earlier for briefing

This offer is available to students of USM campus (main or engineering) or anyone else in Penang who are eager to help.

July 1
Pray for the new intake of students coming in. Pray that the number of believers will increase. Pray for the rest of the students coming back after holiday or LI. Pray that they will come back refreshed and prepared for the new semester, both spiritually and mentally.

July 2
Pray also for the new semester ahead. Pray that God will speak to us in a whole different way and we will get to know God more intimately and personally. Pray that we will grow as Christians and able to minister and sow the seed of Jesus among our friends in campus.

July 3
Pray for CPR on 11-13 July. Pray that the planning will be done in accordance with God’s will. Pray for the new batch of committees. Pray that God will continue to speak to each member individually and as a whole CF, that we will come back prepared to serve Him whole heartedly.

July 4
Pray for Welcoming Night and Exhibition. Pray for the coordinators (Jason Tay and Ee Ning) and all who are helping out. Pray God will give them strength. Pray also for the first years who attend. Pray that there will be more first years and more will continue to come to CF even after that.

July 5
Pray for Family Camp. Pray for the coordinators (Tau Kee and Hooi Keng). Pray that God will give them strength as it will be a tiring time for them and also pray that through this camp, there will be a closer relationship among CF members.

July 6
Pray for Bible Study this semester. Pray that God will lead Derrick and Kian Beng (CGC) with their bible study, both personally and with the CGL’s and that we will grow with Bible knowledge as well.

Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done. Registering Your Subjects

Starting from this new academic term, all registration is done online. So people please remember your healthycampus password for a lot of registration (from desa to school) is done online now.

I'm here to just explain the registration for subjects. Now peeps it's important that you know what subjects are offered and in what category they belong too. As the website does not indicate what is Teras and what is Elektif. So please ask around or better yet check the booklet which was given to you in first year. Once you know, please make sure your subjects are correctly labeled 'T' or 'E'. Please make sure you know. Final Year Students, this is important as if you do not have the 108 'T', 12 'E' and 15 'U' you cannot graduate, so please check all your units are correct.

If there is any queries, please leave a comment and I'll try to help assist you in whatever way possible

Haha see the month of May is definitely the month of babies. Just another update. On Saturday 31st May, Dr Chin (Mechanical School lecturer, PBBC) and his wife Melissa were blessed with not one but two babies. A set of twins. One boy named Nathan and another one girl called Ines. Praise God.

Hey everyone, how are you guys doing?

The month of May looks like a month of babies. Here are two newborn baby news.

Michael Phoon (CF President term 2003/04) and his wife were blessed with a baby boy on the 12th of May 2008, just a day after Mother's day, ain't that sweet. The baby is named Ocean Phoon. Michael is currently in Selangor as a full time worker in his church.

Another news just came in today. Pastor Rowland, the current pastor of PBBC is now a grandfather a second time. His daughter just gave birth to another son today. Son's name is Adriel and we are happy to celebrate their joyous occasion.

Let's pray for the parent's of the babies to be good role models so that their children will become mighty men of God.

It might be a little late, but in this holiday just yesterday, 3 of our CF member have went on a journey to discovering themselves, Friends and above all God in Camp Cameron in Cameron Highlands of cause…The date that they will be will de from May 12 to May the 31^st. You have guess it right those 3 CFers are, the hansom Terrence (Papa), the CF's main player Joshua P and not forgetting the ever energetic Hooi Keng (Mama)!!
